🌍 OVERSEAS BUYER GUIDELINES & POLICY
Top Trends is committed to bringing the heritage of Indian jewelry to the global market. The following terms apply specifically to all orders placed for delivery outside the territory of India.
1. ORDER PROCESSING SYSTEM (STEP-BY-STEP)
To ensure transparency, we follow a rigorous 4-step process for international shipments:
- Step 1: Order Validation: Once an order is placed on toptrendsjewellery.in, our export team verifies the shipping destination and weight.
- Step 2: Quality Inspection (QC): Every single piece undergoes a double-check for polish, stone setting, and durability.
- Step 3: Export Packaging: Jewelry is packed in moisture-proof, high-grade export-quality boxes to withstand long-distance transit.
- Step 4: Dispatch & Documentation: We provide the Commercial Invoice and Airway Bill (AWB) once the package is handed over to our global logistics partners (DHL/FedEx/UPS).
2. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING TERMS
- Shipping Timelines: Estimated delivery is 10 to 20 business days. However, Top Trends is not responsible for delays caused by the destination country’s Customs Department or courier service.
- Shipping Charges: Calculated volumetrically at checkout. International shipping costs are non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Address Accuracy: The Buyer must provide a complete address with a Local Contact Number and Postal Code. Any “Return to Origin” (RTO) due to wrong address or non-availability of the buyer will incur 100% re-shipping costs payable by the Buyer.
3. CUSTOMS, DUTIES, AND TAXES (THE GOLDEN RULE)
- Buyer’s Responsibility: All international orders are shipped on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis.
- Legal Compliance: The Buyer is the “Importer of Record.” Any Import Duties, Custom Taxes, VAT, or Local Handling Charges levied by the destination country are the SOLE RESPONSIBILITY of the Buyer.
- Non-Payment of Duties: If a package is returned to us because the Buyer refused to pay local custom duties/taxes, no refund will be issued for the product or the shipping cost.
4. PAYMENT & CURRENCY
- Currency: All transactions are processed in INR (Indian Rupees) or USD. The exchange rate is determined by the payment gateway at the time of purchase.
- Secure Gateway: We use 3D-secure international payment gateways to protect your financial data.
5. RETURNS & LOSS IN TRANSIT
- No Returns Policy: Due to high logistics costs and complex re-importation laws in India, we do not offer returns or exchanges on overseas orders.
- Insurance: We recommend buyers opt for transit insurance for high-value wholesale orders.
- Missing Items: In case of any discrepancy, a 360-degree Unboxing Video is mandatory. Without this video, no international claim will be processed.
